RHONDA

My name is Rhonda. I was born and raised in SC and now have the pleasure of calling MO my home. I say pleasure because I have had the opportunity to, in my mind, extend my family with some of the dearest people a girl could EVER meet!

My husband, Charlie, is the kindest person I know. (I know this because he very calmly extinguishes many proverbial fires in this household, usually set by yours truly, with a loving smile and a warm embrace.) Together, we have three children, Rachel, Thomas and Luke. They are all so uniquely AMAZING (most of the time)!

I found my passion for decorating quite accidentally one day. I was struggling with the age old question, "What do I want to do with my life?" I went to school for an occupation that had absolutely NOTHING to do with decorating. Upon completing school, I decided to have my own office. I was very excited! I negotiated a contract to rent two rooms from a local business owner and proceeded to design those rooms. THAT is when I had an epiphany! I LOVE DESIGN!!! I love everything about it. I love the whole process...measuring the space, shopping for the materials, installing the merchandise and most of all, I love seeing the look on the home owners face as they see their room for the first time! It's priceless!!!

CYNDI

My name is Cyndi.  I have lived in St. Louis, MO for most of my life.  I am married to an amazing guy, Drew, who keeps me level…or at least my meds level!  We have been married for 13 years and have 4 beautiful kids.  We have an 11 year old daughter and 3 boys ages 9, 6 & 2.  We also have 3 dogs who round out the utter and total chaos that make up our lives!  I was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years and went back to work last year teaching preschool to two and three year olds.  Some would say that I am a glutton for punishment, but I love my job!  The loudness and busyness of it all makes me feel at home.  As far as craftiness goes, I have none.  Why, you ask, would I ever start a blog like this then?  Well, 10 years ago I met my partner in crime.  She is the single most creative human being I know.  Her eye for design and décor is outstanding.  The things she can come up with never cease to amaze me.  That, in combination with my serious case of OCD (for the organization section of this website) and pension for storytelling, put together would be a blog I would want to read myself.  Real ladies, real life.   I also enjoy uncorking the wine bottle after an especially hectic and stressful day, oh wait…that’s everyday!
